Casual Friday outfit and Shellac nails

Jacket: Wetseal
Sweater: Express
Jeans: Old Navy
Shoes: Vera Wang
Belt: Thrifted
Ring: Gift from overseas

Shellac nails here.  I had it done on Wednesday and even though it's to early to give it a proper review so far it's been holding up great. My nails chip like crazy and I'm lucky if the nail polish lasts two days.  So far, no signs of chipping. I'll let you know how long it if really lives up to he hype....a proper review will done on it.

Have you ever had the Shellac manicure? If so, did you like it? Would you do it again?  Do the comments below.

Have a fantastic Friday!

  1. I haven't had that kind of manicure but it sounds awesome! Makes it worth it to have a manicure that lasts.

  2. I've never had one but I have an appt to get one in a few weeks before I go on a cruise. I've heard nothing but great things so I'm hoping it lives up to the hype!

  3. Oh let me know how it works out with the nail color! I have been tempted by it, but never knew if it was worth it or not.

  4. I've never heard of a Shellac mani. Is it like gel nails? Sorry, I'm so behind on this! Please let us know how they hold up!

  5. I had the shellac manicure done this summer before I went on a cruise. My nails always chip like crazy after two days but this lasted for two whole weeks and I was in the ocean, pools, and sand. I definitely recommend Shellac, it did not weaken my nails at all. I had the OPI gel nails done and my nails were sooo weak afterward. Shellac was just like regular polish without the chipping.

  6. you look great in those jeans!

  7. I'm excited to hear your reviews on the polish. I also have chipping nails frequently and have been wanting to try this. You look perfectly styled as always :-)

  8. Love, love, love this outfit and your nails are adorable!!
