OOTD: Mustard skirt with pockets

Cardi: Loft  (2010) (similar here, here and here)

Button up: H&M (similar here and here)

Skirt: F21 (recent) (similar here)

Boots: Gift from overseas  (similar here and here and love these)

Necklace: Macy’s

Bracelet: The Limited

Boots vs. shoes, not sure which one wins. It snowed a bit last week and it’s been nice and sunny over the weekend…I’m not sure how to dress anymore.  Having a  just-case-it snows-or rains-or it’s-sunny-wardrobe in my car might be something I should consider.

Oh, a side point…this skirt has pockets = love.

xoxo

Ooooo, that's the F21 skirt I wanted but wasn't so sure about the length on me! It looks so good on you and now I'm totally rethinking passing it up! How tall are you? I'm only 5'1" so I didn't think it'd be very flaterring on me.I personally, like the first look with the shoes, but I think it's because I love the pop of color with the skirt!

I love the turquoise shoes, but you'll have the boots ready just in case you need them. The weather has been so up and down. It's supposed to hit the 70's today and then go twenty degrees lower by the end of the week.

LOVE this skirt!! I tried on a bright blue one like it at F21 and decided against it because I have so much blue, but this colour rocks!

@Kaleigh Michelle – thank you. I think my vote is on shoes too :)@My Dressy Ways – I'm 5'6".. A while back F21 had a similar skirt like this one only a bit shorter. If I come across one I'll let you know :)@fshnonmymind – The weather is crazy, mornings super cold and then it warms up so much during the day. I guess layers might be the key :)@Ugly Duckling – thank you 🙂 Skirts with pockets are my favs.@Kelly – thank you 🙂 I saw the blue one too but the fabric was a bit thinner. But it's pretty.

I start with a shoe then changed to boots before I left the house!) I have a mustard skirt with pockets so you may see a similar outfit one day!! And totally agree! skirts+pockets = FAB!xo~sam

Where do you live (State) that it's already snowing? I live in ND. Just bought that skirt at F21 yesterday. Wish I had that cardigan to pull it all together. Very cute.

Thank you girls. I almost didn't get the skirt but now I'm definitely glad I did :)@Anon – I'm in MI. It snowed last week Thursday quite heavy for maybe 10min but it didn't last. Didn't get any snow since, thank goodness :)Express has a similar cardigan to mine, and I also saw one at JCPenny that is pretty similar.

This is unfortunately a skirt that got away from F21. I really wanted it badly, because of the pockets and color. I say, stick with the boots. But I totally know what you mean by being unsure from the crazy weather.

Ladies, I really appreciate your sweet comments. Thank you :)@Anon – oh boy, that's a good question. I really don't track how much I spend. My monthly budget is $200 but at times I spend less (and sometimes more). Clothes my husband buys me don't count ;-)@Anon – aww, thank you. That means a lot 🙂

@Anon – Not at the moment. I need to clean out my closet, again, and put aside clothes I haven't worn (or no longer can fit in) to side and will hopefully post it on "shop my closet" blog soon. So stay tuned :)@Cee and Beth – thank you ladies 🙂

Love this skirt! Pockets on a skirt/dress are the best. I like the skirt with the boots better, but the pumps add an unexpected pop of color.
