Walking through department stores to get someplace else sometimes pays off. Like the day when I found this vest. I was excited. So I got one for my sister as well. No wonder she "doesn't like" to shop.  No, she really doesn't. And sometimes when we do go shopping together we have to make sure both of us are fed well. And then we need to stop again to get some more food. Because hungry = cranky.  And you can't shop cranky, you just can't my friends!

Do you get cranky when you're hungry?

Happy Thursday!

p.s. I created a "My daily outfits" board on pinterest. I got quite a few request so I finally decided to do it, even though it feels a bit awkward pinning my own outfits.

  1. I most definitely get cranky when I'm hungry. All day shopping trips always have to have a break for food in the middle. Good food + good shopping = a great day!

  6. I get way cranky if i'm hungry! My hubs will even tell me...which i don't take offense to because sometimes i don't realize that's probably the cause of my cranky attitude lol

  9. This is so gorgeous Lilly! I wish I had that skirt. I only started shopping at LOFT a few months ago i think, and I keep seeing old LOFT items that I wish I had! The tights look great, and the vest is a fun touch.

  13. My hubby and I both get really irritable when we are hungry. In fact, we named it "hangry." As in hungry and angry, haha.
We will sometimes say to one another - "Should we get a snack? You seem a little hangry." :)

    That is ME.

Question for ya: How do you find all the options for your 'buy here' links? You always seem to have several options so I was curious how you find them so easily.

  18. I have been in search of the perfect fur vest for awhile now! I just haven't found one that fits right, and doesn't make me look like a bear bag. I mean, looking like a furry garbage bag isn't appealing. Ha! I'm glad JCP has some options. Their prices are usually reasonable too, so that's a plus!

  19. Thanks you girls on your comments :)

@Mrs C - Easiest way to find similar items is through Shopstyle.com. I used to google stuff for a while as I was getting a ton of emails asking where similar items can be found. It can be time consuming but it's less time consuming than having to answer a ton of same emails :)

  20. I love the faux fur vest - I keep wanting to make one, but by time I get around to it, they might be out of style, haha! :-)

  21. Don't feel awkward about pinning your own outfits! That's how I found your blog in the first place when someone pinned your outfit. :). You have fabulous style. By the way, if you look at your stats over the last week or two, it was probably me that checked a ton of old posts for some outfit inspiration! Andddddd...then I went shopping, lol!

  22. Too funny my sister and I go for food before shopping as well. It keeps us un-cranky and nice to one another. Shopping can be brutal, you have to nourish the body first.
Great vest and that skirt is great and looks warm.
