who wants more stripes

multitasking - sleeping and holding my hair. Go me!
And this my friends is the main reason I crop my face out. Closed eyes and unintentional mean looks means face gotta go haha

Shirt: J.Crew (old) (similar here and here under $15 in many pretty colors)
Skirt: Asos (similar here and here)
Heels: Zara (old) (similar here, here, here and here)
Flats: J.Crew  (old) (similar here, here)
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (old) (love these two - 1 and 2)

I must be on a stripe kick. It's either stripes or polka dots. Can you go wrong with either one!? Didn't think so.
As always I was battling the wind. This location might be a people free zone, most of the time, but the wind is always present. And I'd rather have the wind, which means I'm always holding my hair, than people looking at me thinking...well, who knows what they are thinking.

Do you like this look better with flats or heels?  Flats are my dearest friends when it comes to running around or just when comfort is the priority.

  17. We are twinkies today; except I wore a classic white button up with my skirt. I found mine on the clearance rack at Banana Republic this weekend for only $25; it's more expensive on their website: http://bananarepublic.gap.com/browse/product.do?vid=1&pid=233802002.

I love your blog and now I feel special that we dressed alike. :)

  22. I think this look is tres chic! I may have to put that skirt on my April must-buy list!

I braved some lookie-loos with my pictorial today only because I needed the blank backdrop to showcase the pastel, but I, too, would prefer wind over people any day.

  30. I like BOTH the flats and the heels...the flats make it more girly and easy, the heels add that extra "umph" and makes it more dressy. I really like the length of this skirt on you! Its different, and fun. Great outfit!

  41. Hi! What size is your skirt? I am going to order it but the model on Asos is supposedly wearing a size 4. I would normally order a size 2 but the model looks to be about my size. Is the sizing normal?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Mine is size 4. It's just a tiny bit roomy in the waist area but nothing really noticeable. :)

      Delete
    2. p.s. I probably could be gotten away with size 2, it would be most likely sit higher on the waist.
