You might have “heard” me talking about jeans in the past and how I have the hardest time finding a pair that actually fits well in all the right places. I’m picky about jeans, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t bought jeans in the past I should have not. Got plenty of those, sadly.
If you can find a pair that fits you well and is not going to break you bank…then my friend you’re fortunate. I have two pairs that were affordable and fit pretty well. One pair being from AE but the only problem, and a major problem, they’re way to low cut. Unless you like sharing your butt crack with the world. Not a pretty look on anyone though. And they’re great if you don’t bend at.all. Or I guess another solution would be wearing long tops all.the.time.
Anyhow, long story “short”…a sweet lady surprised me with the ones I’m wearing and I got to give them thumbs up. When I saw them I liked the color and how soft they felt. Truthfully, I didn’t have high hopes. Mainly because I ordered four pairs of designer jeans hoping that at least one pair will work out. Yep, all four had to go back. Pretty crazy, right!?! I mean, what are the chances! So I thought – why would these work?!
They proved me wrong, you jeans you…
Bottom line, these are very soft. They don’t stretch out and end up looking loose. None of that. I can’t speak for any of their other styles except this pair.
So I just wanted to tell you I really like these haha (yes, all the blah, blah above was necessary)
and no, I was not paid to tell you how much I like these (the jeans were sent to me) . Just another excited girl that had to tell my readers about a great and affordable pair of jeans.
As always, thank you for taking time to stop by blog today!
p.s. Don’t forget to enter the JewelMint giveaway.
Love this outfit….simple, smart and chic! ;)http://vodkaandarose.blogspot.co.uk Jess. x
Thank you Jess 🙂
Love this equestrian look, the jacket gives it an edge.xohttp://pinksole.com
Thank you Rachelle 🙂
Love this outfit and I really love that jacket, so chic!xo,Sincerely Miss Ash
Thank you Ashley 🙂
It's so hard to find a pair of jeans that fit well, I searched around for a while before finding my favorite brand! These look great on you!<3 Vickiwildeinthecity.blogspot.com
Thanks Vicki 🙂 Sometimes it takes a while before we find THE brand that fits our body and the budget 🙂
I agree – its so hard finding the perfect pair of jeans that fit just right! xohttp://allthingsprettyandlittle.blogspot.com/
Right? It shouldn't be that hard but unfortunately it is.
I love when i find a great pair of jeans. Glad you found a nice pair. They look great on you.Agi:)vodkainfusedlemonade.com
Thanks Agi 🙂 It always makes me super happy, especially if they're affordable.
I struggle with finding jeans that fit too, so thanks for sharing this. I will have to check this brand out! It's my blog's anniversary and i'm hosting a $50 Macy's giveaway. I'd love for you to enter, check it out here! x. Sabrina | Simply Sabrina
Hope you like them if you end up getting them. And happy blog anniversary 🙂
I'm so tempted to try these jeans! I have the same problem though, it's really hard to find a pair that fits so well. You look great!xo,Monicahttp://glamvolution.blogspot.com
If you end up giving them a try, let me know how you liked them. Hope they work out.
I have not seen this jean brand before but I agree if you find one that works, buy up several! I like the old navy jeans but they get a little loose in the knees on me (weird I know!).
I haven't either until now. I guess I was missing out 🙂 Yes, I know what you mean. Some jeans get loose in knees and it looks especially odd with riding boots…like I'm wearing bootcut jeans haha
i love this outfit … i have a jacket similar to that! thanks for the idea on how to wear it 🙂
Thanks Faith! Figured I can't go wrong with a black turtleneck sweater 🙂
Oh jeans and are have such a complicated relationship, can't live with them, but can't live without them! I agree the perfect one are so hard to find and the best ones always are from unexpected brands for sure! Glad you've found a lucky pair! Loving this cool chic attire, your boots are fab!Cee. ♥Code Overdressed
Thank you Cee 🙂 That's how I feel about jeans sometimes. I think every girl needs to find a pair that fits amazing and it's affordable.
I totally get where you're coming from. It's hard finding the perfect pair of jeans. I too have purchased various pairs of jeans that end up going back because they just don't fit right. Those look great on you and love the jacket!
Thank you 🙂 I've learned (kinda of learned haha) not to take the tag off right away but rather wear the jeans around the house for a bit so see if you end up being too loose. Too many pair sitting in the closet unworn b/c I ripped the tag off right away. Bad idea.
Those jeans look great on you!http://kacieskloset.blogspot.com/
Thank you Kacie 🙂
I LOVE LOVE JEANS! It's all I wear. I just clicked on the link for those Dittos and I'm thinking I may have to get them. Thanks for stating they don't lose it's shape throughout the day. That is huge deal breaker for me re: skinny jeans. Especially in the knees, if they're loose in the knee, they will definitely lose it's shape during it's wear. http://theshopaholicsahm.blogspot.com/
I could wear jeans every single day (pretty much do, even if it's for half a day 🙂 That's what I dislike about jeans too. These haven't lost their shape and I have worn them quite a bit already.
You were made for jeans Lilly! They always look so great and flattering on you! I live in mine as well.
Thank you Noelle, you're sweet 🙂 Jeans are just amazing, they go with everything – dress up or dress down.
Oooo I love these jeans and their very affordable too! Thanks for the recommendation!xo, Ninaafterthe40barfinish
Always happy to share great finds with my readers. 🙂
Thanks for the post. I also have issues with jeans stretching out around the knee. Drives me crazy when I'm wearing knee high boots with them.
Yes, same problem here. We don't really need that must stretch in the knee area 🙂
AE jeans are so ridiculously low cut that I have to wonder how it passes inspection! They are so low on me and then way to thin in the thighs!
Haha they are. I have other low cut jeans but they're not really low cut in the back. AE needs to add some fabric to the back so the rear crack is covered haha.
OOO, those jeans fit you SO well! The wash is great too. I have found that Paige Denim fit me well, but they cost a pretty penny! -AJFitTravelerAJ.com
Yes, certain Designer jeans fit me so well but can't justify spending that much all the time on jeans. So it's always great to find fab jeans for less.
Oooohhhh i love the jacket.
Thank you 🙂
I am adding these jeans to my Zappos wish list…. as soon as Hannah is here I will need new jeans…. Talk about having problems finding jeans? i can't even find MATERNITY JEANS that fit nicely!!!! This is not the time I want anything sliding or giving me MUFFIN TOP!!!! everything is supposed to flatter you and accentuate your new "growing curves and bump" bla bla bla that never happened here! I found one pair that works but they stretch out after one wear so I am sticking with my AE jeggings and will wear those until the end of time (Feb)
Didn't realize maternity jeans are that hard to find (at least ones that fit nicely). First things after baby – jeans haha. February is just around the corner 🙂
I tried on Old Navy and Gap Maternity pants and some actually cut in and created "muffin top"… then finally I found a pair that didn't and they didn't stay up…. no-one warns you about these "side effects" and it makes it harder to stay stylish while preggers… yes 12 more weeks!!! EEEKKK
Would you mind me asking how tall you are? I have a problem finding good jeans too and as if I need anymore problems, my legs are longer than what stores like to carry (I know I should not complain about this) lol.
I am 5'6". I wish I could remember now which jeans I tried on recently that were super long. But the Mother jeans (Looker style) are really long. Pricey but nice. 🙂
Great jeans are hard to find! When I find ones I like I usually do buy more than 1 pair. I love your jacket too, you look so pretty!xo, Yi-chiaAlways Maylee
Thank you Yi-chia! Might as well stock up on jeans right 😉
Do you find that this jacket is too cropped in the back? Do you find it at all awkward or too short?
Honestly? Yes 🙂 I don't think it's awkward but it is short in the back. It looks fine paired with certain pieces and not so much with others.
Try the AE high rise jeggings. They are fabulous, I have several pairs and I think they run true to size. They are very soft and stretchy so if you are between sizes you could size down for that snug fit. Great outfit as always!Happy Thanksgiving, Lilly!!XO, Gina
Thank you Gina. I've never tried the high rise ones…not sure I knew they made high rise anything haha.
The jeans look perfect on you! And I love this outfit – the jacket is gorgeous!
Thank you so much Niki 🙂
If only i had the money to buy the stuff you do, you know that I have been wearing the same clothes for 4 years, I had two babies back to back and I haven't been able to shop since I really dont have any extra cash, but you have no idea how much you inspire me, I lost myself, I feel as if I wasn't even feminine anymore 🙁 never know what to put together can never afford anything the others girls wear, its very irritating, but everytime I look at you and how beutiful and amazing you look it inspires me
Mayra thank you so much. It makes me truly happy to hear that I inspire you with the outfits I share on this little blog of mine. Trust me, one doesn't need a lot of money to look nice and put together. I hardly ever pay full price for anything. And if I had kids I'd probably feel the same way plus not having any kids is probably one of the reason I spend $ on myself (and being a blogger doesn't help at all when it comes to shopping). Sometimes we feel like we need new stuff but working with what we already have in the closet is being more creative I think. I'm sure you're a beautiful lady. We tend to be our own biggest critics. 🙂
