Jewelry - the outfit makers?

If you have been following Lilly Style for a while then you might know that I have a slight obsession with jewelry. And it's a fairly easy obsession to catch (it can be contagious, so watch out).

My favorite way to wear jewelry is by layering different piece.  You can hardly ever catch me without jewelry, whether it is layered necklaces, a few layered bracelets, rings...yes, love it all.  Certain pieces compliment an outfit and other ones make the outfit.

And jewelry, of course, is always a great giftNordstrom has a great variety of jewelry designers at different price point, so there is something for everyone.

How to layer?
Instead of layering a few necklaces of the same length, opt for a tiered look starting with a 16" necklace (or 14", which ever is your personal preference) followed by 18" and so on.
For an eye-catcher look add a long necklace with a larger stone pendant and don't be afraid to mix it with more delicate stones (example below) and for a minimalist  layering look stick to two-three delicate pieces.

This beaded fringe necklace is perfect for Spring and Summer, alone or layered.

Below are just some of my favorite pieces and a few different ways they can be layered. All of these pieces can be easily mixed and matched.

A lot of the pieces mentioned are currently being 'Price Matched'...that's what I love about Nordstrom

Do you like layering jewelry or do you like to keep it to a minimum?
