pink blouse

I've loved blouses for a long time, but I'm starting to love them even more.  Such an easy way to look instantly polished and put together.

Blouse: old - similar - in ton of colors, here, here /  Jeans: no longer available - similar here - love 'em! , here, here  /  Flats: old - similar only $22, another great option /  Bag: Rebecca Minkoff OR other colors on sale!   /  Watch: Daniel Wellington - 15% off w/code LILLYSTYLE /  Cuff / Sunglasses

Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend!

I took a week off from blogging. Honestly, I didn't know if it was going to be a week or longer.  Those of you who blog might understand the love/hate relationship with blogging...something I could go on and on about, but I'll save that for another time ;)

Today is just about my love for blouses.  There haven't been too many days lately where even a light blouse like this wouldn't make you cook alive (some evenings have been cooler).  Even though it's been in the mid - high 80's lately and humid (not complaining at all),  it still doesn't compare to the heat and humidity some of you have to deal with (and for a lot longer than up here).  Yikes.

Let's enjoy what's left of this Summer as it will be gone before we know it.
(SO excited for Fall though. Who is with me??)

  1. I am a big blouse and shirt lover myself. You can never go wrong with a blouse whether it's for the office or for a brunch.

  2. Love that blouse and the color too! For me, blouses are only as good as what you pair them with. And you've nailed it with this jeans - the fit is gorgeous :)

  4. You look lovely in this pink! I don't have many blouses, I feel like I just get my closet in order, then I realize I've got big gapping holes! Super cute outfit :)

I started a blog when I was pregnant with my 3rd kiddo, just over 8 years ago. It was mostly to keep long distance friends and family up to date. Then it turned into a way for me to document our daily life, and I did it for me. I completely understand the love/hate relationship with blogging. Eventually I ran out of steam, and my poor blog hasn't been updated in a few years.

    1. Thank you Teresa :)
This blogging thing definitely has it's ups and downs for sure. One definitely has to enjoy it to keep blogging and sometimes one just runs out of steam as you said. But I always enjoy seeing your outfits on IG :)

  5. I've been loving blouses more and more recently - I used to think of them as only for work, but now I'm grabbing them on casual days and for dates and going out too!

    1. I used to feel the same way about them. They make an casual outfit feel a lot more polished, that's why I love wearing them with jeans.
