Hope each of you enjoyed your weekend!
I've been on the hunt for a cute and comfortable pair of flats for while now. I saw these online but the reviews were mixed so I kind of forgot about them. Usually if I like something and it gets so-so reviews I still like to try it for myself (we all have different expectations).
I was at J.Crew recently and asked the lady that was helping me about the comfort of these flats she since had the red pair on. She loved them and said all of the girls working there have them and love them. I asked her if she found them to be comfortable right away or if it took time to break them in. She was honest and said that they did need some breaking in but after that they're comfortable for all day wear (she was wearing the red pair). Another SA said she owns two pairs and finds them to be extremely comfortable.
I had to go up 1/2 size (I usually have to with J.Crew shoes). I've worn them a couple of times and after a few hours I was ready to take them off (I was walking a lot and my feet were staring to swell).
I'm wearing them around house with thicker socks to break them in a little since not only do I really really want to keep them but also I want to bring them on my trip. They go with everything and are the perfect pop of color (even though I almost got the blush pink. It was a tough choice).
Thought I'd share my thought on these for those of you who might be interested in these flats :)
I'd say give them a try before you give up on them.
Cardigans and tees have been my go-to pieces, again, lately. So easy to throw on....and I yet have to get tired of this look.
