Fitting Room snapshots

A few fitting room snapshots.
(more Loft fitting room snapshots here and here)

While there was a lot of cute stuff, I wasn't feeling most of them (one of those days).

This dress...feels SO nice and comfortable. It's the perfect everyday day. But, it shorter than I'd like it to be which is not the worst problem. It has side slits! Why????  They are an inch away from my rear end.  So sad it didn't work out.

This dress could have been so nice if it was made out of slightly thicker fabric.  It's a thin t-shirt type of fabric. And it's sheer. And it comes in Tall but the one above doesn't?  What's happening!?!

Top - nice blouse-y fabric. It has side slits fyi.
Skirt - (in size 0) adorable skirt.  Such a cute color for Spring and Summer.

Skirt- tried on size Small and it was too big, so I had to hold it in the back.  I'm not seeing this color/print currently online but here is the exact skirt in a different color. oh, and in this print too.
Same top as above, but not seeing this color online.

Cute print for spring and summer. Love the drawstring detail.

Belted Relaxed Ankle Pants - in size 2.  super cute. Saw these online, love!
Sweater cami in XS also comes in white. fits tts.

LOVE this top! It's flowy and comfy. Even cuter in person.
Shirred Peplum Top (in comes in Aged Moss color).

Cargo Pants (available in 3 more colors).
Tried on size Small...they fit just a tad big, but not in a bad way. XS would have definitely been more fitted.  They're cute but just not completely me.  They do get great reviews though.

Made a quick stop at J.Crew - 30% off your purchase

eyelet dress - tts. thought about getting it in white but don't have a dress in green, so green it was.

I'm sightly proud of myself for leaving these amazing boyfriend jeans behind. And only because I have a pair in the exact color with just some distressing on it. But...don't judge me if you see me wear them one day  ;-)

If you're looking for a pair of boyfriend jeans you'll love these ones.  They're slimmer than most boyfriend jeans and in my opinion a lot more flattering.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I know you don't like the material of the ruffle midi dress but you should get it anyway because it looks better on you than the model...it's so nice on you..and I also loved the white top with yellow skirt and the floral draw string skirt and the sweater cami with the tie waist pants....I definitely have to visit loft this weekend.

    1. I so wish it wasn't sheer. It definitely requires a slip which I'm not crazy about. Maybe if it goes on super sale ;)

  3. I love those belted ankle pants and you look great in all!! I am so curious and have wanted to ask -- why do you stand on your tip toes for your selfies??

    1. lol I asked myself the same thing when I was uploading the pictures. I think it gives it the illusion of wearing heels and sometimes it makes the item look better on...in my head.

  4. I love love LOVE your fitting room posts and when you link to similar things in these posts that you love. Please never stop doing them. I am so inspired by them. Also, thank you for linking to outfits that are modestly priced. Some bloggers are getting out of control and out of touch with their readers I feel like. I always feel like I could actually afford to buy the pieces you share. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

While I don't mind splurging once in a blue moon on certain items, I'm all about sales. Thanks again for taking time to leave such a lovely comment! xo

  6. I finally got over to a Loft store (living in a rural area does have its draw backs.....). Tried on several things I've had in my cart, bought the yellow top, a bright orange/coral sweater tank and surprised myself and tried on a striped jumpsuit that was super cute.

    I always love these posts!
