Before I start, FYI Ann Taylor is still running the 40% off (with code SUMMER) + FREE SHIPPING (that doesn’t happen very often). Check out my fitting room snapshots here.
I purchased this dress, probably back in February from Asos. For our vacation. In September #whodoesthat? Anyway, decided to put in on recently. I think it shrank from sitting on the hanger!
It’s definitely shorter than I remember. But for a beach vacation is ok. However, I decided to have a top made out of it because it will get a lot more use as a top. And here is the exact style top version.
Dress: Asos (sold out) – other gorgeous option (I’ll take one of each please) this one, this one, this one and this one / Slides – exact here, here in black, option with heel (SO cute!) / Tote – similar for only $19 (it’s soft), here, need this one /
And while I’m on the subject of vacation (you know…me buying stuff seven months in advance for it)…I’ve been loving one piece swimsuits this year and there so many pretty options (for all budgets). I still would like to get a cute two piece/bikini swimsuit. And of course…there are always more things I think I need for the vacation (don’t we all?!)
As I was looking at swimsuits one designer who’s pieces stood out was Mara Hoffman and all the bright pieces, so pretty (in love with this skirt…which is more than I want to spend but everything is so pretty.
I’ve already been thinking about what to pack (hey, it’s just a little over two months away lol) as I don’t want over-pack…especially since hubby and I will, most likely, share a large suitcase (will see how that goes).
Dresses are on top of the list, as you can’t go wrong with dresses. They’re quick and easy outfits plus they don’t take up much space.
Clearly I can go on and on about vacation packing and what to bring…so perhaps I’ll do a post on that soon. Let me know in the comments below if you’d be interested in seeing one.
Hope you’re having a great Sunday!
