Fitting Room snapshots (Old Navy)

Happy Monday!

Should have done these on Sunday but better late then never.  Old Navy sale - 40% off your purchase (get his tote if you spend $75 w/code TOTALLY. Free shipping w/code FREESHIP (on order over $25).
A ton of nice pieces.
I already placed my ordered (sharing what I purchased at the end of this post...and I'm placing a second one because I really did try to avoid looking at shoes...but I caved. For the price I'm not even mad about it).

Question - would it be more helpful if I shared my measurements?

This dress  was one of my favorite pieces. It's a just thick enough. I tried on XS here and I didn't like that it was a little snug on my hips (It doesn't look like that on the picture).  I ordered this dress Tall in size Small.  I'm exited to wear it with sneakers too, like this pair (hah, just noticed the model is wearing those sneakers).
Flats in these pictures...they didn't have my size so I went up 1/2...too big.

Loved this dress as well. Tried on XS here and it fits great.  If you have a bigger chest you might have to size up. For it it was a little snug but not bad enough where I needed to size up.

This off the shoulder dress is quite soft. Fully lined and very comfortable. The quality seem really nice.  It also comes in navy.  For a minute I thought I grabbed size Small as it was roomy but not big ( if that makes sense).  Tried on XS here.
It can also be worn on the shoulder.

While I'm not quite the jumpsuit person, I LOVED this jumpsuit (many are not long enough in torso, so I feel like I would be walking around with a wedgie). This was was better/longer than most but felt like it was a tag snug on the hips in XS (again, doesn't appear that way, it just felt that way which I didn't like).  Size Small unfortunately sold out online so I'll pop into the store to see if they have it in Small.  I'd definitely recommend it.

If you're looking for a nice denim jacket I'd recommend this one.  If I hadn't already purchased the Levi's one,  I most likely would have gotten this one.  I tried on size Small and it fit comfortably.

Old Navy Jeans just don't fit my body type well. They usually fit great in legs but buttoning them is a tad harder...I usually end up with a muffin top (my permanent food baby is to blame).  These jeans actually fit better than the lighter wash below this picture.  Tried on size 2 here (they get really great reviews).

Liked the wash on these jeans and light distressing. Love the length and the raw hem. Tried on size 2 and they look nice in pictures but I didn't like they way they fit me.

Didn't try on too many pieces.  Below is what I ordered today...
I'm still trying to decide on a couple of pieces  (for my second order) - like the bag (just because I've one too many already) and the sports-bra (need to double check if I already own one like this).

Maxi Dress  |   Scoop Neck Tee   |    V Neck Tee   |
Sports Bra  |   Utility Jacket   |  Slides  - also LOVE these   |
Wedges (do you like these or a solid color?)  |
Jacket  - also in blue and black  (as seen in this post) I ordered Small
 |   Crossbody Bag  |    Leggings  (I ordered Small)

And don't forget that today is the last day to take advantage of Ann Taylor.
(my latest fitting room snapshots)
Also, LOFT dresses are $49.50  (some on sale already + extra 40% off).

Did you purchase anything from any sales?
I'd love to know, leave me a comment below if you did :)

  1. I really love that first marigold dress, the jumpsuit and jean jacket on you! I got the vneck tee in black because white sold out fast (I should have ordered last night), a layering cami and trying their white jeans yet again. The floral strap on the camera bag is so adorable. I thought the crossbody looked like good quality for the price when I saw the darker solid colors in store about a month ago.

    1. I also like the first striped dress on you and I hope the tall size works out!

    2. Thanks Jess! Yea, lots of pieces sold out in my size too.
Good to know about the bag. I too love the details on the strap, so cute.

  2. The cargo/utility jacket is a closet workhorse for me!

  3. All super cute outfits and perfect for Spring!

  4. Almost bought one of everything you shared! So now I'm requesting another Old Navy post when it's time to spend SuperCash lol.

    1. Hard to resist things, its't it?! I didn't plan on ordering this much but I couldn't help it. Plus I had to say no to a few pieces (so hard to narrow it down). And I love your idea for SuperCash. Will totally do that ;)

  5. That stripped dress and jumpsuit are super cute! Thank you for sharing details about the quality sometimes I'm reluctant to shop at Old Navy become some of their pieces don't wash well. Totally gonna try on that jumpsuit now!

    1. I've really had good experience with pieces I got from Old Navy. I still have some tees that I purchased 5 years ago. Hope the jumpsuit works out for's is SO nice!

  6. I got my 13 year old daughter a few new swimwear pieces from the Athleta friends and family sale... does that count? I just want to say I love your blog so much. I really appreciate the way you can put together simple outfits, as a stay at home mom I'm not running around in heels all day.

    1. Thank you SO much Joan, that means a lot. How are the Athleta swimsuits? I've been eyeing a few but never purchased any from there.

  7. Yes please, to your question about the measurements! Thank you for being all of our personal shopper! ;)
