Fitting Room Snapshots

Happy almost Friday ;-)
I was trying to avoid Ann Taylor because of the new arrivals... I knew there were one too many nice pieces. But I no longer could resist, obviously!  (working on self-control, still).
My store didn't have everything I wanted to check out in person, but there were still so many nice pieces nonetheless.
And now almost everything is 40% off with code SWEETTREAT

Love, Love, Love this dress.  It reminded me of this dress from Nordstrom which you might have seen on ton of many bloggers (it does get great reviews. also as seen in these fitting room snaps).
I found this AT one to be WAY nicer, in my opinion. The fabric is a tad thicker and it's lined..making it more forgiving and flattering. I'd recommend this dress over the Nordstrom. This one is also longer and that's another reason I like it better.
I decided to try on size Small and it the fit was good. Not super tight but also not loose.  This dress is also perfect if you're breastfeeding too (when I was adjusting the top it made me think how perfect it is for mama's). It's the sleeveless version of this dress basically, which is available in two other colors now, both on sale + extra 40% off
(this sleeveless one is nicer and softer fabric)
Faux Wrap Dress in size 2

This dress is very forgiving and that's why I loved it haha.  You'd think that the knot in the front would be unflattering but it hid my food-baby lol.  It's very comfortable too.  Because of the fabric, and you can wear this dress with sneakers too. Easily dressed up or down.  I tried on xs and it was great fit. Not tight, not loose.  I'd recommend this dress too.

I'm a little sad that this dress doesn't come in Tall. I tried on size 0 Regular and it's too short for me. Also almost a tad tight in hips.  But it's such a beautiful dress. Much prettier in person.
Floral Dress in size 0

This tunic top is on major sale!  If you're shorter it might work as a shirt dress too  (I'm 5'6" and it was too short on me to be a dress). But it did looks cute over white skinny jeans (scroll below). Would look cute with leggings too. Now only $24
Tunic Top in xs

Such a beautiful dress!  I tried on size 2 and it was a great fit. Size 0 would have been too small in the waist. I love the black belt, such a nice contrast.  I think it's just priced a tad too high.
Lace Belted Dress

I wanted to love this skirt but....I didn't.  Tried on size 0 and it fits great in the waist...just enough room.  There was just a tad too much fabric around the hip area....which make it look like it was a size too big. I wouldn't say it looked bad, I just wasn't a fan of the way it fit me.
Maxi Skirt in size 0

Pretty details on this top. The front is lined, no cami needed. A little overpriced for what it is but on sale it might be worth it. No stretch, but also I had no issues with putting it on/taking it off. Tried on size xs and it was a good fit. (scroll down to see it untucked).
Lace top in xs

This is one color that flatters everyone I think. I tried on size 0 in this skirt (in A-line skirts I usually can size down, especially if they're high-waisted). The fit was great in size 0, not tight.
Lace Trim Skirt in size 0

Same top as above.

Top - super light, the sleeves are not over the top and I liked the fabric which would be great for hotter days. Being super thin it does require a nude bra but I wouldn't say it's sheer. Also a good price point.  Tried on xs and it was a great fit. I'm ordering it now that it's on sale (ugh, xs already sold-out online).
Skirt - tried on size 2 and it was too tight on the hips. Sexy - yes, Modest - NO.  I'd size up in this one.

The fabric of these jeans was nicer than many other white jeans (you know how hard it is to find a good pair of white jeans). The style reminds me of my Paige denim pair but these were a tad thicker (which is always a plus in white jeans).  I'm usually sizes 0 in Ann Taylor jeans (size 26 regular) and they fit great.  They get great reviews too. So if you're on the hunt for nice white jeans, these might be it.
If these were straight leg and cropped I would have brought them home with me (clearly I'm on the hunt for a cropped straight leg pair lol).

Adorable top! It comes in more colors and polka dots.  I wish they had this top in Petite in stores...I think I might prefer the sleeves a tad shorter.  Tried on xs and it was a comfortable fit. I noticed a reviewer said it was too thin... It's on the thinner side but I personally liked the fabric. Personal preferences...
Bow Sleeve Blouse   (mine jeans here are Mother tts. Flats old).

Really wanted to try the pieces below but my local store didn't have them.  This shirt being one of them.

Floral pretties:

There are also a ton pretty pieces added to Sale with Extra 40% (so many good deals)
This top that I have is on major sale (I love it so much!). Also this skirt is on sale (as seen in this post. I got size 2).

Here are my favorites:

My previous Ann Taylor fitting room try-ons.  And pieces from these and these try-ons are on sale.

Have a great day!
