I got these boots about two weeks and meant to share them sooner but totally forgot. I’ve been on the hunt for a pair in this color, and not a high heel, for over a year. The hardest part, for me, about buying keen high boots it the circumference as I have small calves. These are almost perfect….
I loved the color of these boots, as well as the heel height – not too high, not too low. I think as with most knee high boots, circumference slightly changes with the size. I’m size 8.5 and these run tts. I’m 5’6″ and these come right under my knees. There is a little gap around but not bad at all, especially if I wear them with skinny jeans…even less then. The gapping isn’t that big to be a deal breaker, specially since it’s hard to find nice looking leather boots in this color, and that meet all the criteria, that don’t cost over $500.
One of my favorite ways to wear knee high boots with heel is with midi skirts/midi dresses – as seen in this post from November of last year and this post from January (just a couple. I’ll have to round them up all my favorites in one post).
I’m such a huge fan of pleated skirts…I’ve accumulated quite a few. You might remember this one I’m wearing from over a year ago, found in this post. It’s such a inexpensive yet well made skirt. They do get restocked but sell out quickly. This color is sold out at the moment, but I’m sure at some point it will get restocked. And they usually come in multiple colors. I have the burgundy too. It’s currently available in the gorgeous deep green, so pretty. I actually ordered this green one from Mango (with the current 30% off promo, more of my picks in this post) but part of me wants to get the H&M before it sells out in case the Mango one doesn’t work out.
Ribbed Sweater – now 50% off | Knee High Boots tts | Pleated Skirt in size US4 – similar colors here and here, love this one too | Masur Gavriel Bucket Bag – similar for less. this bag would have paired nicely with this outfit. I got it and it’s beautiful.
