Hello Monday!
Styling a button cardigan as shirt is as simple as putting it on and rocking it! lol
I think most of us are used to wearing cardigans the traditional way – over a shirt, tank or dress. But I’m loving that short button cardigans have been having their moment for a couple of years now. And they’re perfect for in-between seasons.
You can easily style it for the office with dressier pants and pencil skirts. Worn with jeans it looks nice and polished.
I’ve been eyeing this Sezane cardigan for a long time but for some reason never ordered it. I haven’t been able to find anything cheaper that looks just as nice. The closest looking one I came across is this J.Crew cardigan, which I found a couple of years ago on sale (original price was close to Sezane one). I do love it but I am STILL constantly eyeing the Sezane one. So I’m finally ordering one but I am thorn between white and oatmeal (it comes in ton of beautiful colors). I might order both and keep the one I like better on me. It’s a classic piece that I’ll have in my wardrobe for years.
The Nude color in the Sezane sweater is almost identical to mine. Lilac is another favorite but sold out in most sizes. Some beautiful options:
Another place that has the best selection of cardigans is & Other Stories. The last time I ordered something from them was this cardigan. I loved the color but it was a tad shorter than what I was looking for….which I’m still bummed about. If you have a shorter torso, you’ll love it (it would have worked over something but not on its own for me and I wanted that option too). Take 10% off at checkout w/code STORIES10
I’ve been loving these ballerina slides. They come in two solid colors and I absolutely love them in Raspberry Blush. They pair with just about everything! I took my usual size and they fit tts for me. I will say that for me these are not for walking shoes (not that they look like they should be). I do think that they’ll be more comfortable for certain type of foot more than others. They’re super cute and chic though!
