Crisp Fall day

…and I’m loving it!

and then I went back to the car for the blazer. A liiiitlleeee cold.

Blazer: H&M (recent)  (other great Fall blazers here and here

Sweater: Old Navy (no longer available online)

Scarf: J.Crew (no longer available online?) (similar here) (other cute options here and here)

Vest in first pic: Old Navy (2011) (similar option here and here)

Jeans: Forever21 (best $10.80 spent) (buy here)

Boots: Sam Edelman (2010) (other options here, here, here, here and here)

Bag and Belt: Target (buy the belt here) (cute bag option)

It’s 52 degrees outside and I’m actually happy. What’s wrong with me!?!

Before we left for a walk I went to the basement and a minute later was asked by Mr. “who are you talking to?”.  No, no-one lives in the basement, except a variety of bugs.

I was talking to my boots. Yep, my boots!

There were all alone, boxed up for months, and I was happy to see them again. SO happy!

They are probably the reason that this girl is happy with 52 degrees outside.

Happy Fall!!!

Um I can't blame you AT ALL! All summer I keep thinking "wish I could wear my boots today… but I would look silly and crazy wearing boots in July…"But seriously, I feel like any fall outfit looks better with boots. I have a pair of Steve Madden riding boots that I am obsessed with. I got them for Christmas last year and since then, I didn't wear any other shoes all winter. I couldn't help it. They were too cute NOT to wear! Now… I need a black pair 🙂

It is still 100 degrees today where I live! I'm so jealous of your weather! Always love your outfits. After seeing those boots last year on you, I received them for Christmas but they were the wrong size and I am too short. They are still in the box….I really must sell them:(

I love this look so much! The first post you created that featured the Old Navy sweater inspired me to buy it. It's just too cute, and looks very smart with that blazer. Also, what type of camera does your hubby use to take the photos featured on your blog? The photo quality is really great. I know having a dedicated photographer helps, but I would love to check the camera out myself.

Oh my goodness! I just followed a Pinterest link to your blog, only to realize that I've seen your face before! You have come into my J. Crew a few times! Haha! Small world! 🙂 So nice to find your blog…no wonder myself and another person who works there thought you should work for us…your style is amazing. 🙂 I'm sure I'll see you again sometime! My name's Allison and I'm the short *new* employee with the long blonde hair. 🙂 I remember you being SO sweet when you came in. 🙂 Take care and hope you don't mind me following you! I still have a lot to learn about style and putting together great outfits. 🙂

oh my, small world 😀 Thank you for leaving the comment and letting me know who you are :)I while ago I came across your picture on Instagram (double collar ootd) and when I saw you the first time at J.Crew I though you looked real familiar (you're gorgeous btw). Once in a while I stop at that J.Crew, when I'm passing by (it's an hour away from where I live). I'm sure I'll see you again. You have great style (from the two times I saw you and your Insta pics). p.s. happy to have a new follower 🙂
