Chop, chop, chop

I chopped my hair off! Latest news! (If you follow me on Instagram you’ve already seen it).

Every time I get my hair trimmed I tell myself that I need to chop off all the dry and split ends. But then I chicken out. Each time.
I HATED seeing how dry and split my ends were. Nothing worse!
Yes, I loved my long hair but I like healthy hair even  more. It will grow – that’s what I keep telling myself! Yes, it will grow!

Also, Target has these amazing velvet pants (I noticed in my new J.Crew catalog they have the same color as well). For $23 at Target – you can’t go wrong (didn’t see them online).

And on a similar note, Kate Spade Friends and Family 30% off ends tomorrow and works on sale items as well (code F12FFUS).  Love this and this bag, simple and classic. And this one has to be my favorite. Ah, love it!

Very cute with the long bangs. I like it! I'm trying to grow mine out right now, and it seems like hair just doesn't grow fast enough. Funny how we always want what we don't have! The new style looks super on you, though.

I hear you on the split ends. I cut off all of my hair in August and while I regret it sometimes, I'm doing things now for my shorter hair that will benefit my future long hair (biotin pills, less washing/styling in a week, more deep conditioning).

Great cut and style! you're starting to make me want to cut my midback length hair! Have you noticed a lot of lint collecting on the pants? I saw those a J Crew and thought they'd be perfect for a holiday look!

Haven't noticed any lint collecting. Will see what happens when I wear sweaters with the pants 🙂

Omg! Your hair looks so different, but it looks very pretty both ways! I was in the same boat a while back. In the spring, my hair was about the length of yours before you cut it or maybe a little longer. I had had long hair for 6 years now. I decided to try something new and got it cut up to my shoulders. I loved it at first. I kept getting it trimmed every month. Over the past few weeks I've started missing my long hair so I'm growing it back out. Yours looks really good, either way though! 🙂

Just wanted to say I adore your new haircut. I noticed on pinterest that you pinned something about growing out your hair, so I thought I should mention that in case you were regretting the cut. I think it was a really positive decision to cut it 🙂

I don't have the tag any longer. If I go to Target this week I'll take a picture of it though.
