Happy Hump Day!

In a few days, it will officially be Spring. I’m not going to ask who is excited, because I’m quite sure all of us are excited.

After I saw this mint trench coat at Nordstrom, it called my name. Such a perfect color for Spring, and it looks so great with dressy or casual outfits.

When I think of Spring outwear, trench coats and utility jackets are must-haves. Every woman should own at least a classic trench coat.
When I was at Nordstrom recently, I had to try on a few trench coat and utility jackets….just to be asked by my sweet sister “don’t you already have something like that?”  (Now she’s starting to sound like my husband with that question lol)  My answer usually is “it is a little similar, but this one has this or that different”.  It’s just like striped shirt, just because they have stripes it doesn’t mean they all look the same. So we need them all. Right!?

I really liked this trench which has a removable hood ( which is perfect for more casual outfits, especially with rain boots and when you’re caught without an umbrella  #hellospring),  or this one which is single breasted (and it’s under $100 which is pretty good for a nice trench coat).  I’ve been seeing more and more colored trench coats, which now that I think about it, colored ones are starting to outnumber the classic beige ones in my closet.  The color and style of this one caught my attention, SO pretty (and isn’t that a color that looks great on everyone?)

Do you prefer trench coats or utility jackets for Spring? Or do you love them both equally? (like me 😉

Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!

Pastel toned outfits are my favourite ones every Spring, esp. when mixing baby blues and powdery pinks. :)http://lartoffashion.blogspot.com

This is the perfect Springtime and/or Easter outfit! I love the delicate shades, they really work well on you. The colors are so reminiscent of those whoppers robin eggs! (You can tell what I've been snacking on lately 🙂 )Clare | Understated Classics
