Fitting room snapshots part 2 – Ann Taylor

Happy Friday ladies!

I wasn’t planning on doing a fitting room post today, but…I stopped at Ann Taylor looking for a cardigan (these are a lot nice than Loft ones if you’re looking for one) and got majorly distracted by dresses, so I had to share.  And the dresses are just too pretty not to tell you about them.

Let me just say that these pictures don’t even do justice to some of these dresses….they’re beautiful!

Every.single.one  (ones I tried on).

Striped Flare Dress

Ah, this dress. The picture doesn’t do it justice. So beautiful and classy. It can be rocked year

around (add some tights for colder weather).  I tried on size 2 but I think size 0 would fit too.

Mesh Flared Dress

Plain beautiful! Size 0 would have worked too and probably been even more flattering, but I hope you can tell how nice it is.

 Scalloped Lace Dress

This dress is gorgeous (and sexy IMO). I’m so sad it doesn’t come in Tall.  Did I say it’s gorgeous!?!

If you’re looking for a white, lacy dress…you won’t be disappointed by this one (and if you are, I want to know why haha)

Rounded Hem Shift Dress

(tried on size 2)

I didn’t think I was going to like this dress but it turns out I loved it!  I tried on size 2, I didn’t want it to be tight. I can see how it might cling to the body in a unflattering way (per some reviews) if too tight.

Again, super bummed that this color is sold out in Tall (I prefer it to be knee length in case you’re wondering

why I want them all in Tall)

And of course, more stripes. I got almost the exact top last lesson from Ann Taylor but grabbed it

in Petite and it’s too short on me. But regular is fine as you can tell (tried on XS).
Striped Top

Unfortunately I didn’t have time to try on more pieces, but below are a few of my favorites.

Beautiful! I prefer my dresses to be knee length too and hate when they don't come in tall! Why can't they make more knee length dresses!

I love the new stuff at Ann Taylor- I bought the lace white dress online so hopefully it fits when it comes in. I may have to place another for the white mesh dress and stripped shirt, especially with the 40% off this weekend!beautifulbeakers.wordpress.com

I absolutely LOVE that white lace dress. So pretty! I would probably need a tall too, dresses always end up so short on me, I'm so tall. lol! I really like that first striped dress too!

What size do you normally wear in apparel? I'm trying to decide if that coral fit and flare dress in size 2 will be a bit too loose for me. I'm usually a 00/0.

I'm usually size 0 in most dresses. If you wear 0/00 I think size 2 would be loose for you. I'd suggest size 0.
