outfits lately

Happy Tuesday!

Small outfit roundup in case you missed these on Instagram (follow me @lillydemello)

I’ve had my eye on these booties for quite a while and finally got them (finding flat brown leather booties I loved took forever).  I got my regular size and first impression was – they’re super narrow (I have an average width foot). They do break in since they’re leather, but if you have wide feet you might want to size up. There is also a similar looking pair here

The sweater is long and oversized (longer than it actually looks on me here) but it is a super nice sweater and the price point is great.

Jacket: Nordstrom  |  Sweater: H&M  |  Booties: Madewellhere too  |   Jeans (old) – similar here and here w/no rips  |  Bag: Mansur Gavriel  |

I got this coat in 2015 (after having it on my wish-list for years). Still one of my faves!  I was originally planning on getting it in gray, shocker, but than I got it in red…but changed my mind once I saw this pretty blue. This color is back again this year and it’s selling out fast.

Coat: J.Crew – in size 0   |  Collar Sweater: Banana Republic  |  Jeans: Mother  |   Booties (old) – similar styles here and here  |  Bag: Givenchy – similar style for less  |

Wore the outfit again on Sunday for lunch and couple of errands with a different sweater (which comes in ton of colors and it’s 40% off right now).  I really appreciated the hood on the jacket as it started pouring and I didn’t have my umbrella.
This sweater below can be worn 3-different ways – regular, off one shoulder and off both shoulders. And it’s super soft!

Jacket: Land’s End 40% right now  – wearing xs (comes in 3 more colors)   |  Express Sweater  – buy one get one for $20  |  Topshop jeans – size up  |  Boots

After thinking for about a month or so about this anorak, and having outfits already put together in my head, I finally ordered it.  I’m find myself looking at Everlane a lot…just love the minimalist style, especially the sweaters. And shoes. And stripes tees. 😉
Now I’m just hoping the delivery stays on schedule and it arrives before our little weekend getaway.

This gray cashmere sweater earned me the question on Saturday from my hubby – “didn’t you wear that sweater yesterday?”.  #guilty  To my defense, I only wore it for 3h on Friday.  If you own a cashmere sweater, than you know how amazing they feel on and you don’t want to take them off. If you don’t own one, than you need one.

Jacketsimilar for less  |   Cashmere sweater (old) – similar here (in ton of colors) and  here   |  J.Crew skinnies (SO nice and tts)  |  Marc Fisher booties

J.Crew jeans never fit me right (a boyfriend pair did but that’s it). I could always get them and they fit great everywhere except I couldn’t comfortably zip them up.  I tried these on a whim and so glad I did. They are amazing!  Whatever changed hopefully the change stays!

Wishing you a great day!

Hi Lilly. The anorak jacket- is it a rain jacket? Are they popular? Are they warm? My DD lives in Seattle with rain! Looking for ideas for xmas. Thanks!

I haven't received mine yet, but it is water resistant, it's not lined…so I'm not sure if it's actually any warm. I would think it's mostly for Spring and Fall weather, not so much Winter (at least not Michigan winters). I just really liked it (looks so chic) and I think one would get lots of wear out of it during rainy season (I'd be happy to receive just about anything from Everlane as a gift 😉
