I love versatile pieces…ones you can easily pair with just about anything. And that’s how I feel about these pants. If you saw my stories from a few days ago, I tried these ankle pants with these sneakers and loved the combo. They have a nice amount of stretch to them, which makes the very comfortable, but they don’t stretch out. I wore these to brunch the other day with my flat booties and they paired just as great as with heels or sneakers. Basically, you can pair these ankle pants with pretty much any type of shoe.
I talked about this coat in my fitting room snapshots post. Houndstooth print is timeless, so you don’t have to worry if this coat is going to be in style in a few years. This coat is one of those pieces you can wear year after year. It’s a perfect coat to transition into spring and it works perfectly for fall as well (it’s not a winter coat but with warm layers you can wear it during colder days as well).
These pumps are one of the most comfortable ones I own, perfect heel height (I have them in couple of colors). And they’re 50% off until 2/1. I took my usual size. Below are a few more shoe picks that are part of the 50% off promo:
By just changing to sneakers from heels, you can go from office to running errands and look just as polished.
I’ve mentioned in my try-on post that this coat runs a tad big. It’s a straight cut and the sleeves are on the longer side. If longer sleeves are not your thing, I’d suggest getting this coat in petite – it will be a tad shorter in overall length and sleeves as well. If you usually take Regular in AT coats but want to try Petite, just go up one size from your usual size (I would take size Small Petite in this coat and I’m usually XS Regular). But I don’t mind the longer sleeves (you can always tuck those under), I took XS Regular.
Clearly I had to show off the cute buttons on these pants in multiple pictures haha
My picks below from the current 50% off promo (ends 2/1)
Had to try this cute heart tiered flounce skirt. I ordered size 0 and it’s definitely a tad tight on the hips but it fit fine in waist (it’s the problem I usually have with skirts). Easily dressed up or down, would make a cute vacation/summer skirt.
This heart tiered flare dress is SO adorable but it’s quite short of me (the skirt was longer than the dress). It’s a bit longer on the model (I’m 5’6″ for reference). I love all the pretty details though. This print, fabric and ruffles are really nice (I would love this as a maxi dress). Wearing size small, fits tts.
You might have already seen this uber cute houndstooth belted coatigan. I adore this piece! It runs tts, I’m wearing xs below.
As always, thank you for reading!
A big thank you to Ann Taylor for partnering on this post!
