Our weather has been all over the place lately, again. Cool mornings and evenings with warmer mid-day temps. Which I’m quite happy with! Linen pants have been my go-to lately, especially on days I want to wear pants but it’s too hot for jeans. They’re timeless wardrobe pieces I’ll have in my closet for years and years. I love that they are easily dressed up or down. Such an easy way to look put together.
I’m wearing size US6 (EU38) in these linen pants but could have gotten US4 especially since they have elastic in the back (for reference I’m size 26 in jeans).
I got size Small in the sweater but could have stuck to xs. It’s a boxy fit, which I don’t mind, but it does run true to size.
The sneakers run a full size too small…so definitely size up. I love the scallop details in the back…check them out here since I didn’t snap a detail picture.
For length reference I’m 5’6. While the linen pants are not too long I think I’ll shorten them about an inch. Will have to try them on with slides again to make sure though.
This striped dress is so well made. Pictures don’t do it justice. It looks a LOT more luxe in person. I have a number of stripe dresses and I have to admit that none of them compare in quality to this one (but this one is also higher price point so quality is expected). It runs true to size.
The belt is removable and it looks great both ways. This little number will be in my wardrobe for many, many years.
Below is a better look at leather sneakers which I’m in love with! Love how good this style looks with dresses and bottoms.
My sister fell in love with these sneakers. She’s not my shoes size so she can’t “borrow” mine.

The classic pieces in this post are from a UK brand – Hobbs. I was recently introduced to this brand which offers “modern cuts, contemporary tailoring and effortless silhouettes, inspired by our roots are meticulously designed in our London studio and brought to life by expert craftspeople around the world.” They offer a great variety of pieces, many perfect for the office but also a great variety of pieces that can be dressed down.
And this is also something I appreciate about a brand “We don’t get swayed by fashion trends that come and go. We see beyond the throwaway, to seek out and create forever styles that will stay relevant. Current yet timeless, we make the pieces you’ll still be reaching for in many years to come.” Some of my most favorite pieces in my wardrobe are many years old and this is the reason why – current yet timeless!
A big thank you to Hobbs for sponsoring this post!
